Ah, that's true! Actually my summer vacation just started, so I'm really happy... however, I just got stitches in my finger today, so I'll have to wait a while before I can create anything.
I wish acrylic didn't take me as long. I feel like I take my time with anything I do - except certain sketches, haha. I actually want to try out digital coloring for real - I used to use it a lot - but I didn't really know how to use the program I have effectively (I think it's Photoshop 9 or something).
Is there perhaps a program that you recommend? :)
Also, lately I too have been trying to sketch new poses and practicing with anatomies. But not with animals... I should probably practice with them more. xD I looked at your artwork and I think it's all really good - but I can understand what you mean about personally wanting to improve on your line art and anatomy. Honestly, I would like to improve on inking and coloring my pictures (besides working on the anatomies and poses..etc). ^^
Yes I totally know what you mean! But it's almost summer vacation and then we'll have lots of time to draw ;) Hmm for me acrylic doesn't take that much time.. although with water colors I'm also a bit of a perfectionist. With digital coloring I get the feeling that everytime I color something that I can continue coloring and make it better and get more depth in the drawing. But at a certain point it simply takes to long and I submit it and I'll just have to be happy with it. Plus I guess that everytime I color I also improve a bit and hopefully next time the coloring will go a bit faster.. :)
Right now I'm simply trying out new poses and to sketch more animals. Plus I'm trying to do more traditional work (I've done quite some digital work the last two years but I feel like I don't improve so much on line art and anatomy).
Ah, really? Next time I have a mistake I'll try that and see if it works, thanks!
And same here, watercolor.. well honestly any painting medium (for me) can be tedious work, because I like to be a "perfectionist" -as my friends say- and work until I get sick of it... haha.
However, when you have school classes and deadlines - you can't really take all the time you want to finish something. ^^'
I know! But sometimes you can correct a mistake, just add water and go over with a brush, then use a tissue paper to suck up the water with the color. But sometimes it doesn't work. Also it's tedious work because, for me, I have to go over several things multiple times to get good coloring. It's been long since I did my last watercolor though.. :)
Personally, I like blue colors contrasted against white - so when I saw Kazuki's picture, I wanted to try something like it myself~ ^^
And I agree, it is fun experimenting with different mediums!
However, watercolor may be one of the hardest to work with because you can't really correct any major mistakes.. :/
I love the blue colors! I saw the original artwork and this looks very good! Good to see some water colors on theO :3 Always fun trying out different mediums. Good luck in the challenge!

Thank you so very much!
I thought the contrast (in the original picture) was cool too. :)
